Now with 2013 gone what movies are you guys looking forward to for 2014? When it comes to movies for me first film that I am looking forward to is X-Men:Days of Future's past.I read the story when I was younger dreaming one day a movie would be made for it, and at that time only two films were made in the X-Men franchise.Seeing how this movie develops especially seeing the trailer, and a possible Apocalypse movie in 2016, we could see a very epic extra credits scene to build that movie to come.Another movie I'm looking forward to is Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, I really enjoyed the first film but just by the trailer like I thought about the second Hobbit film, this film will blow away the first film. Two other films I'm looking forward to is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the movie how they somehow try to capture and perfect how great the very first TMNT was good luck. The last film the Hobbit:There and Back Again obviously being a fan of the story from the beginning and with the quality of movie for the second film in the story, we can only hope the last film ends beautifully. Now that's my list what do the the members here say?

How to Train Your Dragon 2 is probably at the top of my list. The trailer made it look so awesome.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

All I can remember so far is:

Captain America: The Winter Soldier
X-Men: Days of Future Past
The Amazing Spiderman 2
The Hobbit: There and Back Again

Probably most excited for X-men and Spiderman, leaning a little bit more on Spiderman 'cause I feel X-men might have a bit too much going on.

Expendables 3? Didn't even know that was happening, not sure how to feel about that one.

Now I remember more, 300: Rise of An Empire. I don't think it will be even half as good as 300 but still want to see it.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes of the Annoyingly Titled Series, Godzilla(since there are multiple monsters :D), Transformers 4 because no more Shia might make it good.

Ah yes, I forgot Godzilla. That one looks good.

The Expendables 3 has Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford in the cast this time around.

I'm interested in that but...not sure what the end game is in it, need more details.

It sounds cool but also like why? What is about? So they find the wormhole go through it and then what?
I doubt it will be crap but need a little more to get excited for it.

On Godzilla, let us hope it's not going to be like Pacific Rim.

We don't care about the lame typical military characters and their relationships we want pure monster vs monster vs humanity action.
It is called Godzilla after all not One Couple Amongst Millions Matters More For No Reason, Oh And There's A Monster Or Two.

I know other than in name it's virtually nothing like the source material but I actually like Godzilla a lot(American one) used to be one of my favourite movies. So I'm interested to see what happens with it now being more closely related to the true Godzilla.

Aside from the Batman-trilogy, I'm not a very big fan of Nolan :p

I admit that the teaser hasn't shown us much about the actual plot of the film. I get that and I'm not over hyping the film because of the material shown in the teaser, but rather the theme they present in the teaser. Combining the limited plot synopsis that we have with the feel they are aiming for in the teaser leads me to some magic places. It's more my imagination doing it than the actual teaser, I admit...

I'm very big on space travel and I have criticized humanity in general for our lack of interest in continuing to explore space. I think it is very important for our species to continue to do this because like the teaser said, "our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, cause our destiny lies above us"...thinking about that in the context of the entire human race gives me goose bumps.

The fact that we've come from horse carriages to space travel in the span of less than a hundred years is utterly mesmerizing but our society has become apathetic to it...and that's the theme the trailer was giving us...combine that with the small plot synopsis that we have and I am already very excited for this movie because I feel it will be touching upon issues that needed to be addressed to a mass populace. If it can inspire that kid in college who is unsure of his major to go into experimental physics then what a statement that is, the same way Star Trek inspired kids to do the same back in the 60s...

Captain America: The Winter Soldier - Hoping it will at least be a good as the first movie
X-Men: Days of Future Past - trailer looks incredible! Hope it doesn't disappoint
The Amazing Spiderman 2 - Hoping it wont suck. Multiple villains is never a good thing in a Spiderman film from what we've all seen before. Spiderman 3..... ugh!
The Hobbit: There and Back Again - just to see it end. The needless additions, spitting it up into 3 films just for the $, the constant CGI and Green Screen effects, and 3d effects... good god, I wish Del Toro would have done the Hobbit.

And....

hee hee hee.
